for sale by owner. This is someone who is trying to save themselves a few
dollars by selling the property themselves rather than pay a realtor. Now
this may be ok if they are experienced with the details of selling real
estate. With most people though this will soon turn out to be a huge
headache. This property owner has received literally a hundred plus calls and most of them have been from realtors offering to list property for the owner rather than from someone interested in actually buying the home. If you are actually a buyer calling this property owner you may be one of the only serious buyers or interested parties they have spoken to.
